Our Sweet Job

He is tall, intelligent, quiet, and always thinking about things. Job Sanon’s mother died during childbirth. It was a miracle that the baby lived! He was brought to us by his father, Mr. Augustine, who lived far in the mountains.

Job is 16 and in the 11th grade. About two years ago, he developed a big infection in his leg, from his knee down. The Haitian doctors could not figure out how to treat the leg. We were desperate, so we took him to a doctor in the Dominican Republic. The doctor opened the infection, cleaned it out, and then put a “glue,” inside and sewed him up. Job was on crutches for months but finally, he got a call for us to take him back to the D.R. for surgery. This time, they opened the leg, cleaned out the “glue,” and sewed it back up! Special thanks to the Dominican doctor!

He has never had a problem since then! Job loves the Lord, plays the guitar, and loves dominoes and puzzles! He hopes one day to become an “ophthalmologist!” He is hard-working, sweet, and quiet!
