Rodna is now 12 and is in 7th grade. She has really grown up fast! When her mother died, her father had to borrow the money for her funeral. We heard that the money he borrowed for the funeral was borrowed from a “bad guy,” who held the rest of the children as hostages until he could pay the money back. We finally had to pay the ransom ourselves!

Her father brought her to our orphanage because she had severe malnutrition, and Rodna has been with us ever since! She loves puzzles, jump rope, and her brothers’ electric cars! She wants to be a professional cook! (All our girls love to cook!)

We love Rodna and we know she will go far in her life!!!
