This sweet, kind, and humble young lady has made us so proud! As you may know, she was just five when her poor mother appeared at our gate many years ago, when we lived up in the mountains of Mt. Noire, Haiti. Widlene and her baby sister were malnourished, and her mother was suffering from weakness and hunger. We took them in. Today, Esther just went to college to become a Dental Hygienist. Widlene just finished college to become a Professional Cook! She may end up working for her Haitian brothers, who run the local restaurant here. She can really make those “delicious cakes!” We all love Widlene!
