Bobby always says, “Love is something you do!” Today, we took food and beautiful gifts to the families who live in Sapaterre. This entire village makes those “dirt and mud cookies” that Haitian children eat when they are hungry. Today, we shared God’s love by hugging them, and giving them food and gifts! Our daughter, Julie, our young missionary Kaeli, our cameraman Oriol, and some of our Love A Child boys joined us today. Each family thanked us and as we were leaving, they made us promise to come back and have a crusade!! Blessings, Bobby and Sherry
You can learn more about us and our work in Haiti by reading our new book, “Love is Something You Do.” You can order it online at Amazon.com.
Please watch our latest television broadcast about Haiti’s garbage dump kids. The devastating living conditions that these people face every day are absolutely inhuman. They need our help now! Warning: the images in this video are real and very disturbing. Please click on this link to watch now: https://vimeo.com/149876151. Thank you and God bless you. Bobby
Today, Bobby and Sherry are deep in the interior of Haiti. They are in the village where Haitians make mud cookies. They will share food, gifts and the Word of God with the people of this poor village. Later today, we hope to post a report with pictures. Love is something you do!
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:17 (NIV) – Our lives should reflect the nature of Jesus. We need to be mindful of Jesus in everything that we say and do. We need to be thankful for all the blessings in our lives. Let the world see the spirit of Jesus in you today. Bobby
As 2015 comes to an end, we wanted to take a moment to thank all of our partners. We are so grateful for each and every one of you. Your gifts and prayers help us each day to carry out God’s plan for our work here in Haiti. THANK YOU partners for feeding the hungry, healing the sick and clothing the poor. “Blessedishe that considereththepoor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.” Psalm 41:1— Great is your reward. We love you! God bless you. Bobby and Sherry
My father was 71-years-old when I was born. My mother was only 36-years-old. He had outlived two previous wives when he married my mom. I remember the first day I ever walked. The reason why is that I felt the presence of God come over me. God’s hand is upon my life and your life today. He has a plan for all of us. Let Him bring it to pass. “That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” Hebrews 6:12 – Bobby
Our sweet Julanne is in America with Rad and Sandra Hazelip. She was one of our first orphans. Her father was dead, and her mother was dying when she made me promise to take care of Julanne. She was severely malnourished when she first came to live with us, but we gave her food, love and a place to call home. Now, Julanne is studying to be a pediatrician at Notre Dame University in Haiti. She arrived in Miami on Saturday, which was her first trip to America. Rad and Sandra took her to a “movie theater,” and today she was in the Love A Child office. Thank you partners for changing Julanne’s life! Sherry
We are preparing to deliver food to those poor Haitians living in the area where they make mud cookies. We will also be taking gifts for the children and adults. Many have never received gifts in their lives. Julie Burnette Halecki, Kaeli Fletcher, Philemon, and our Haitian staff will be coming with us. I can’t disclose the day or the time because of security reasons. Bobby
I was reading an amazing story at 4 AM this morning. Oh, what a miracle story! Gabriel who stood in the presence of God was sent to give a message to Zacharias and his wife Elisabeth. “They both were now well stricken in years.” Luke 1:7 – “Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.” Luke 1:13 – Six months later, the same angel Gabriel was sent to Nazareth to speak to a virgin by the name of Mary. “And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.” Luke 1:31 – I want to share this with you today – “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” Luke 1:37 – Please read Luke chapters one and two today. What a story! Bobby
