We know it is another good day, when we see little hungry children with plates full of food! There are so many children in Haiti, eating “mud cookies” and digging through the garbage dumps for food! This is what we love… seeing children eat a full meal! These children from Hope for Life Children’s Home receive food from us each month. Bianca – 10-6-2015
You may remember Bianca. She came to our Love A Child Orphanage with her two younger siblings, Ada and Raphael. She was born in Port-au-Prince where her mom and dad tried to make a living, but could not find work. Her parents, Ana Jean and Fane Loseau, died on a boat desperately trying to reach the United States on the promise of work. Her aunt was raising the three children, but she could no longer take care of them. We heard about this family, went to Port-au-Prince and brought them all back to their new home at our Love A Child Orphanage. Bianca loves learning and is doing very well in school. Feeding the hungry and caring for the poor touches the very heart of God. This year, God has laid a great burden on our hearts for the hungry children of Haiti, who live just one hour and forty-five minutes by plane from the shores of Miami. Some mothers now think about “selling one child” in order to feed the others. We are always trying to “rescue one more child” from hunger and starvation. You may be the answer to someone’s prayer today. Learn to “listen with your heart.” Sherry

Feeding the poor – 12-10-15
Distributing food to hungry children and families is not an easy job. Our food trucks often travel to remote areas, up mountains, or through riverbeds. Once the poor families reach our destination, they have to carry the food on their heads, on a small boat, or by donkey to their little huts far away. However, there is no way to explain the importance of food to a mother who has four or five children. It means “a full stomach” tonight and it brings hope! Thank you partners! We must bring in eight 40-foot containers each month. This costs about $10,000 per container, and each contains approximately 270,000 meals. Pray about what God would have you do and “give” online now. Thank you. Bobby
