Love A Child provides hope to those living in poverty in Haiti.

Word from the Mission Field – 12-10-15

“Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.” 1 Peter 3:9 (NIV) – We are called to be a blessing to others, no matter what they do to us. By doing so, more of God’s goodness (blessing) is given to us. Blessed to be a blessing! Bobby

Feeding hungry children in Haiti

Feeding hungry children – 12-09-15

After moving to Haiti 23 years ago, we found that winning adults and children to the Lord would take more than “preaching.” There is a Creole Proverb that says, “A hungry stomach can’t hear.” This is true. When we and our missionary friends find children and families who are hungry, we feed them and share God’s love. This is Robedson and his sister. This little boy and girl have had horrible struggles with hunger. We share our food with 73 other missionary outreaches and “But God Ministries” is one of them. Our friend Mickie wanted to thank everyone who “puts hands together” to make this happen. This food is donated by Feed My Starving Children. Our Love A Child Partners sponsor the costs associated with getting this food from the States, all the way to Haiti and to the children! Thank you everyone! God bless you! Sherry

Word from the Mission Field – 12-09-15

“For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers.” 1 Peter 3:12 – Never doubt for a moment that God doesn’t see you or hear your prayers, because He does. He truly loves and cares about you. It’s going to be all right. Bobby

Feeding the poor in Haiti

Feeding the poor – 12-08-15

Just look at this young Haitian boy – there is no hope in his face. He cannot go to school, and he has never had a “full meal each day.” You may not know his name, but maybe you will remember his face. It is the face of the “poor.” He has a “machete” (knife) to use to cut trees to make charcoal. He will try to find some plastic bottles to sell, and then he’ll put them in his “macout” (sack). If he doesn’t, he will stay hungry for a day or two. Look at the big holes in his shoes. He feels every rock in the road. Now ask yourself this question, “I wonder why I was born here, and he was born poor in Haiti?” Maybe it is so that God will touch your heart to feed him and children like him. We must bring in eight to nine containers of food at $10,000 each this month. Please pray that God will meet this need so we can feed this child, and others. Sherry

David George in the Dominican Republic

David George in the DR: 12-7-2015 9:30 AM

Our friend and partner David George is in the Dominican Republic with Carlos sharing the love of Christ.

Here is a message from David George: “What an incredible, incredible day at the new Love A Child Church in La Romana. Hundreds of children were fed and given toys. I preached about what Christmas is really about – THE BIRTH OF JESUS CHRIST. Once again Carlos and his team were amazing. Pastor Carmela (THE WOW PASTOR) and her daughter-in-law Lily Gomez were precious. My friends, I am so honored by God to spread the love of God and the real and genuine Christmas spirit. God bless!”

Word from the Mission Field – 12-07-15
