Thank you Laura Jordahl for the lovely “handmade blankets” for the children of Haiti! All our children are really excited. This is a special, wonderful blessing for the children, who live up in the mountains of Haiti, where the temperatures drop at night! God bless you, Bobby and Sherry
New clothes: 10-25-2015 10 AM
A Haitian Creole Proverb: “Women are like mahogany… they are better with age!” These ladies are “dressed for church” with beautiful clothes made by our friends at the “Church on the Way Praise Center!” Everyone had such fun trying on the dresses. Now, they are “headed to church!” God bless all our friends who made these beautiful clothes! Bobby and Sherry
Election Day: 10-25-2015 9:00 AM
Today is Election Day in Haiti. They have 54 candidates running for President. It will take a week or more to count the ballots. Some people have already been shot. If one false “rumor” breaks out, there could be a lot of violence. We pray this will be a peaceful day and a peaceful week.” Bobby
Word from the Mission Field: 10-25-2015 6:00 AM
“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:16 — No matter what you are facing…no matter what you need…you can go to God in prayer, fully confidant that His grace is here to help you in your time of need. It will be all right. Bobby
Wedding for 25 couples: 10-24-2015 6:15 PM
Twenty-five Haitian couples were married in our Fond Parisien Church today! A special thanks goes to all those who donated wedding gowns and we also thank the Hotes Foundation for donating all the wedding rings and so many others who helped. When the Pastor asked, “Is there anyone here who objects to this couple being married?” (He did this for each couple.) One woman started hollering and screaming, “He was mine before he was hers! He belongs to me!” Then she yelled and started screaming and crying and throwing a fit! The security guards had to carry her outside! But they all got married!!! Thank you, Pastor Narcisse, for a job well done in marrying these couples!
PS: Oh yes, Pastor Narcisse found out that one of the “grooms” just had sex with some other lady this week and wasn’t serious about marrying. Pastor Narcisse refused to marry him! Ha! Haiti! Sherry
Wedding Day: 10-24-2015 1:30 PM

Thank you for knitted caps and dolls: 10-24-2015 12:00 PM
A special thank you to Denise Piper for the adorable handmade dolls and knitted caps for the children and babies that she sent to us here in Haiti! Lots of love was knitted into each “doll,” and the little children say, “Thank you Denise!” We will be showing other donated items to the children from time to time on our Facebook page! Thank you partners! Blessings, Bobby and Sherry

“If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” Matthew 17:20 — It always amazes me when I think of the size of a tiny mustard seed, and how it grows into such a large tree. So it is with our faith…a little can do great things in our life. Plant your seed of faith today…and just watch what God will do with it. We love you. Bobby and Sherry
Dresses for the ladies – 10-23-15
Jesus said, “When ye have done it unto the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” Matthew 25:40 – When you clothe the naked, you are clothing Jesus. We are so thankful for many of our friends who make homemade clothing with love for the poor in Haiti. We want to thank our friends at The Church on the Way Praise Center for these beautiful dresses. The ladies at our orphanage loved them! God bless you. Sherry
Pastor Souffrance and Peyi Pouri Cross: 10-23-2015 8:00 AM
Pastor Souffrance came to see us yesterday. He had a burning fever, which was probably malaria, and we treated him. He also told us a very sad story. On Saturday, one of his faithful church members (a lady) was dying, and they had no vehicle to transport her. He hired several men to carry her out of Peyi Pouri on a stretcher – which is quite a feat! They went to the hospital, and she died that evening. He then had to pay several men to carry her body all the way back to Peyi Pouri. When he returned to Peyi Pouri, he found out that thieves had stolen the batteries out of the “Peyi Pouri Cross” that shines all night. He said they “prayed for the thieves and asked God to forgive them and bless them.” He is a much better person than I am! Sherry
