Feeding and caring for hungry children in Haiti (the poorest country in the world) is “what we do.” These children are being fed at Perpetuel Secours Orphanage in Haiti, thanks to one of our partners Reverend Jonel. Each month, Love A Child shares food with over 70 organizations and orphanages that are struggling to feed hungry children. Feed My Starving Children donates the food to Love A Child. Our partners sponsor the costs associated with getting this food all the way to Haiti, and then we “get it to the children.” It takes all of us working together. Someone once said, “The work will get done as long as you don’t care who gets the credit.” All the “credit” belongs to Jesus! Sherry

This is young Moses. He started his life at the bottom of an outhouse, where his mother had given birth. A man heard his cries and pulled him from the outhouse and uncertain death. He was taken to a charity hospital and the staff notified us. We rescued him and brought him to our Love A Child Orphanage. He is growing into a fine boy, is very active and loves to play soccer. Thank you for helping us save another life here in Haiti. Some day he will grow up to be the President of Haiti! Bless you, Bobby and Sherry.

By faith, each month we give out 2,160,000 meals. Feed My Starving Children donates this food, but we must pay the transportation cost for each 40-foot container, which is $10,000. This is our biggest burden to believe the Lord for $80,000 each month, that includes all the cost of getting it through Haiti’s Customs, and I feel this load tonight. On the other hand, the reward is great! Please pray about helping and being part of this gift of love every month. Love is something you do! Bobby

This morning 71 organizations are coming for their monthly food to share with others all over Haiti. Our daughter, our Haitian children, Ken, Barb, Daniel and many of our Haitian staff are working hard to serve others. Sherry and me too! We are also serving homemade cake and all kinds of goodies for all of our friends picking up their food. Love is something you do!  Bobby and Sherry

Kaeli Fletcher, one of our missionaries, worked with our older Love A Child girls, Julanne and Florence, to give out school supplies, backpacks, shoes, and more to all our Love A Child kids! It took all day! The children are happy that school starts on Monday, but not as happy as I am!! Ha! Sherry

“And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men…” 1 Thessalonians 3:12 — This scripture tells us that our love for people will grow stronger as we spend time with the Lord. Like body builders exercise their muscles to get stronger, so we need to exercise our spiritual muscles so our love will increase and abound. We do that by spending time in prayer and in His Word.
