“Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto ME.” Matthew 25:40
This is such a simple scripture, and yet, many Christians “still don’t get it.” Jesus allowed the poor to be placed in front of our eyes and our hearts to see what we would do. And yet, He went on to say, “When you care for the sick, visit those in prison, clothe the naked, or feed the hungry, you are REALLY DOING THIS UNTO ME.” The poor man sleeping on the street under some newspapers “may be Jesus.” The hungry child you see on television, or in your neighborhood may be Jesus. Keep your hearts open. Sherry
Robert de Vries: 11-23-2014 6:00 PM
Robert de Vries, one of our missionaries, ministered at the Haitian church called Temple Evangelique de Golgotha this morning. It was a wonderful service that really touched the hearts of the people! His family, Durkje, Daniella and Dieuseul, joined Robert at this great service. Bobby and I just came back to Haiti with our son Jonathan, (Bobby #2), his wife Julie and our twin grandsons Aidan and Brandon. We are so thankful that they can spend Thanksgiving with us here in Haiti! Sherry
Word from the Mission Field: 11-23-2014 6:00 AM
“And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.” Matthew 10:38 — Do we love the Lord today? If we are not willing to sacrifice and forsake all, then we are not worthy of the Lord. Not our will oh Lord but thy will be done in our lives. Have a blessed Sunday. Bobby and Sherry

“When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.” Isaiah 59:19 — Maybe the enemy has surrounded you today and is trying to attack from all sides, but the Lord is with you and will fight for you. Bobby
La Trambley Updte -11-21-14
A new orphanage is being built for Pastor Claude Mon Desir and the orphans that he cares for. He works very closely with us and he has a poor, run down orphanage with lots of children in La Trambley. Now, he and the children are about to receive a huge miracle for Christmas! David George and his friends have raised enough money to build a brand new orphanage for Pastor Claude and his children! David is a long time Love A Child friend and partner. Claude and the children had been on their knees praying for a new and better place to live when Pastor David said that God had spoken to his heart about building this new orphanage. Wow, what an awesome God we serve! Sherry
Grand Miracle Market soft opening: 11-21-2014 8:30 AM
“What you don’t know, is greater than you…” is a Haitian Creole Proverb. This is so true. More than a year ago, we began working on the land for the Grand Miracle Market project, and we called this “food for life.” We realized how depressed the poor Haitians were because they had “no jobs” and therefore, “no hope.” When I was a little girl, my father was out of work for a year and he was depressed and frustrated. I do remember those days and it was not easy. But thank God, now the Haitian people have hope! The marketplace just opened to let the vendors become adjusted to their spot, and there are also seminars on “how to sell.” The entire community was so proud to go through and listen to the Gospel music being played! Our dedication will be December 9th. Blessings, Sherry

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 15:58 – Be steadfast, unmovable, don’t give up and keep going forward. Your labor is not in vain in the Lord! Bobby
