Dimelia: 11-16-2014 7:30 PM

When our missionaries picked up Dimelia at the airport in Port-au-Prince today, the children at the Love A Child Orphanage were waiting to receive her with a big party and welcome. But, she insisted she go straight to church first and she jumped out of the car, leaving her suitcases behind. She went to the orphanage after she went to church. She really puts the Lord first! Dimelia has been in Boston for several months undergoing surgeries for skin graft releases that were needed due to scars caused by burns she had as a child. God really has his hand upon this child! This is Dieubon: 11-15-2014 6:30 PM

This is Dieubon from our orphanage. It is hard to believe that he is now 17! He is as short as “Sponge Bob!” He is such a great worker. He had club feet when he first came to our Love A Child Orphanage. He had several operations when he was very small, and stayed with some great friends of Love A Child, Doctor and Debbie Falterman. Now, Dieubon needs to go back to the States to have a check on his Spina Bifida problem. We are working on his Medical Visa this week. Say a little prayer for him. Blessings, Sherry

Children who are starving in Haiti

How hard is it to get food to hungry children in Haiti? Ask this little guy. Food has to travel by truck, then boat, and finally by “heads” over and through the mountains and lakes to feed darling little children like these. Thank you everyone who helps us get this donated food all the way from Feed My Starving Children to the children who are starving in Haiti! Sherry

Sharing our food: 11-14-2014 10:00 AM

We love to give! Ever since Bobby and I were married and preaching on street corners with hardly enough to eat, God has taught us to “give.” We share the food we receive each month from Feed My Starving Children with many organizations in Haiti. This food is donated to Love A Child and we must raise the funds to get it from the States to Haiti, through customs and to our warehouse. Every month we share this food with 65 other organizations, including our 14 schools and many feeding programs in poor villages throughout Haiti. These little ones are under the care of Madamn Kiki at Mission Chretienne Beree D’Haiti. God bless, Sherry
