Sharing Our Food: 9-23-2014 10:00 AM

When we partner together, we can get more done for the Lord. The Haitians have a Creole Proverb that relates to this. It says, “Anpil patat fe chay,” or “A lot of sweet potatoes make up a load.” We can feed so many hungry children by working together. We partner with Feed My Starving Children, who donates the food, and we partner with you, who help us get it to the children! A very special thanks to Joyce Meyer Ministries – Hand of Hope and Jentezen Franklin and his partners for sponsoring a container of food each month. Also, a big thank you goes to everyone who does something great or small! God bless our friend Diddi Washington’s Mission Haiti Helping Kids, who is just one of the 63 organizations that receive food from us monthly to help feed children in Haiti. Each month, by faith, we must believe in God to bring four more containers of food. Sherry

Word from the Mission Field – 09-23-14

“For many are called, but few are chosen.” Matthew 22:14 – A lot of people are called into ministry, but because of the lack of sacrifice and commitment, when things get tough the vision or the calling begins to fade away. Do not take the calling of God lightly. To be chosen by God is a great honor. Bobby

Those who share their food never eat alone. – 9-22-14 11:00 PM

A Haitian Creole Proverb says, “Those who share their food never eat alone.” When you and I share our food with hungry children like these, the Lord will make sure that you and I will always be blessed and we will never go hungry. Look at these precious little children with their full plates of food! Thank you, friends and partners, for “sharing your food!” Sherry

P.S. These sweet children are being cared for by our friend Judy Hangels. We share our food with them each month.

Update on Baby Elijah – 9-22-2014 12:00 PM

Baby Elijah, who was abandoned at our front gate four months ago, was suffering with very severe malnutrition. He later developed meningitis and a hydrocephalic head. In this photo, he is being loved and cared for by our oldest Love A Child children to help stimulate him. We are waiting to see if his new seizure medicine is helping any more than the previous one. He is very fragile. Sherry

Word from the Mission Field – 09-22-14

“Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. Say not unto thy neighbor, Go, and come again, and tomorrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee.” Proverbs 3:27-28 – I woke up at 3 AM this morning with this scripture burning within my heart. I know that I am supposed to share this Word with you on this Monday morning. Bobby

Sharing our Food: 9-21-2014 5:30 PM

Franky is the little Haitian boy in the middle. His mother died from a reaction to a bee sting, and his father died of a knife wound. Franky would have died too, had some friends of ours at Mephibosheth House, with whom we share our food, not rescued him. Now, he is eating the food that you help sponsor each month. God bless you, and God bless our friends at Mephibosheth House. We all work together to feed the hungry children in Haiti. Blessings, Sherry

Sharing Food: 9-20-2014 6:30 PM

One of our biggest burdens each month is feeding hungry children, like these at Dayspring Mission. We must bring in ten containers of donated food each month in order to feed all the villages we work with, in addition to 7,000 children a day in our schools, and 63 organizations with whom we share our food. Each container of food has 270,000 meals and the transportation cost is $10,000 for each container. Every gift counts, every penny counts. Click here to help us continue to feed hungry children in Haiti. God bless you, Sherry
