This is Durkje, our Love A Child missionary, holding Elijah. She sent a note with the photo that reads, “I think if Elijah has the operation he will be okay. We don’t know when the team of doctors will be here. God put this little one in our hands and He has a plan for Elijah. We are doing everything possible to help him.” Love, Durkje

Thank you friends and partners for sharing your food and your finances with us. This helps us pay for the shipping of each container of food that is donated from Feed My Starving Children. It is shipped from the States all the way to Haiti at a cost of $10,000 that also covers customs and other expenses. Each month, we share the food we receive with other missionary organizations, orphanages, and children’s outreach programs. We are sharing with these children at Grace Village. They are eating these big meals because of you. YOU are the “Hand of God touching these children! Sherry

Word from the Mission Field: 7-19-2014 7:00 AM
When I was growing up I would see signs everywhere saying “Uncle Sam Wants You” which meant the United States wanted young men to volunteer for military service. Today the Lord is saying he wants to use you and me. “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15 – Let God use you today. Bobby
Marketplace Update – 07-18-14
We received a message from Oriol today. He is part of the management team for our Grand Miracle Market. It was another wonderful day for the Haitian people.
Oriol reported, “Today was no different, more people showed up to register for a space at the marketplace. The traffic is attracting local vendors to set up in front of the market to sell food to the applicants. The word is out and the people are coming to Gwo Mache Mirak!”

This is an amazing job that Brian Nipper of Nipper Construction and his team were able to do in the Grand Miracle Market. This crew put up ten huge buildings in our Marketplace in Fond Parisien, Haiti. The last several months were spent putting on the roofs in the heat of the tropical sun, and they did so much more. Great job! We are so proud of this project! Return here later to check out what they all did – AMAZING! Sherry

Just look at this darling little boy, Evenson and his family. Evenson was in such poor condition with malnutrition when he was sent to an orphanage from an abusive situation. He was reunited with his mother and food given for them through Hannah at Hope for Life Children’s Home. Feed My Starving Children sponsored this food with us. “You” helped sponsor the food to come to Haiti. Each month, we share our food with 63 other missionary organizations, and outreaches, and this orphanage was one of them. Isn’t it amazing what God can do, when “we share” our food? Click the donation button on our home page to make this happen. God bless you, Sherry.
James 1:6
“But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.” James 1:6 – If we pray and doubt, we shall do without, but if we pray and believe, we shall receive! Bobby
Elijah Update – 07-17-14
Elijah is the baby that was abandoned at our front gate under the thorn bushes in critical condition. He had been in the hospital recently, but is now home at our orphanage for a few days. We are waiting on doctors to perform surgery for his water head, and also give us follow up information about his meningitis. Elijah is a “miracle,” and we know the “miracle maker” and his name is Jesus! Let’s pray! Sherry
