Today we welcome Open Hand Ministry, directed by our friends Alisha and Lisa. The Open Hand Ministry team will offer seminars to Haitians helping them learn more about running a successful business. Their goal is to teach the local residents how to sell in the new Marketplace in Fond Parisien. These business seminars are April 7th and 8th. It will be great! Sherry

Word from the Mission Field 04-05-14

“For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.” 1 Corinthians 16:9
Sometimes for missionaries a “great door” can be the opportunity to take food across mountains to a village of starving children, or build a church in an impossible situation. That is the great door, but there will always be many adversaries that try and stop these works – like vehicles breaking down, funds running out, roads that are too muddy and much more. Update in Haiti 04-04-14

The Feed My Starving Children team left today. We passed out over 1.2 million meals this week. Mark Ostrander also left today. Together we poured two more large concrete slabs that will be foundations for the new Marketplace. The Builders Without Borders team, who finished putting roofs on the agricultural buildings, will leave tomorrow. A team from Open Hand Ministry will arrive here tomorrow. Love is something you do!
