Colin will have surgery on Friday to have the “metal pins removed from his fingers.” He had surgery on his badly burned hand about a month ago. You may remember that Colin tried to take a small handful of rice from the pot of food that his stepmother had cooked for the family. His father, who practices Voodoo, accused him of stealing this food and held his hand in the hot charcoals to teach him a lesson. Colin is doing much better now. Thank you for your prayers. Sherry

Carlos shares food in sugar cane fields 02-12-14
Carlos is still busy in the sugar cane camps distributing food, love and the Gospel to the poor Haitians who work there. Cutting sugar cane is a rough job with little pay, and sometimes “what you do” speaks louder than “what you say.” Sherry
Dominican Republic Outreach 02-12-14
God bless Carlos as he blesses poor Haitians this week living in “sugar cane” camps in the Dominican Republic. Most of these food distributions are being done inside churches that are located in these camps. An Update On Nelson
Everyone has been asking about Nelson, the little boy that we took in with severe malnutrition, deformed ribs and who could not walk. He has his “good days and bad days,” and still fears standing and cries in pain. We are looking for a good physical therapist here in Haiti that we can send him to. We think he may have more issues than just his legs, which is causing him pain when he tries to stand. Please pray that the Lord will direct us to the right people for him. Sherry
Sharing our food 02-10-14
For poor children living in the mountains of Haiti, this may be their only meal…a “work for food project.” Love A Child donates food to those building mountain roads and many poor children “help” their parents so that they can eat too. Dominican Republic work 02-10-14
Our Dominican Republic work is growing by leaps and bounds for the Lord. As we posted last evening, Carlos, our Team Host, will be giving out food all week to poor Haitians living in sugar cane camps. He will also be working in poor areas reaching Dominicans for Christ. We are believing the Lord for a large truck to haul life saving supplies inside the Dominican Republic. The cost to buy a truck in the Dominican Republic is $35,000. Carlos goes to the DR
Carlos, our Team Host, left Haiti today for the Dominican Republic with a truck loaded down with food, supplies, clothing, and much more for the people living in sugar cane camps. He will be working with a pastor there and together they will be conducting youth camps, and distributing food in some of the poor areas. We are all “busy” while it is day because the “night” is coming when no man can work. Sherry
