Our Little Drummer Girl

Yolanda Burnette is 13 years old and in the 8th grade. Wow! These kids are growing up! I can remember it like it was yesterday… A poor mother, Marie Elmise, who attended our church in the mountains of Covant, had given birth to a baby girl. (Many Haitian women die during[…]

Importance of the Birthing Center

Why our Birthing Center is so important… Many people have asked us why we built our Birthing Center. Most of the children from our Love A Child Orphanage, which is now known as the Love A Child Children’s Home, have come to us because their mothers died during childbirth or[…]

Tropical Storm Laura Update

All morning we have been hit with pounding rains and heavy winds coming from the Dominican Republic and into Haiti via “Laura,” a strong tropical storm. It will be covering the island of Hispaniola today. (Haiti and the Dominican Republic share the same island.) The most fragile people are those living in[…]

Memory Tags

We are living in a day and time when many young people do not respect our fallen heroes, especially those who saved lives and put themselves in danger to rescue someone, even those who have given their lives for our freedom. We have received nice clothing before for our children[…]

A Policy with Good Benefits Looking for a good life insurance policy? We always try to check into the ones with the best benefits. Sometimes we think we have benefits until we read the small print, and the small print is not on our side. The Lord also gives us a policy. It is called the Word of God, and it has many benefits. No one can deny you of the benefits if you know that you have them. Let‘s go to Psalms 103:2-5: “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 1. Who forgiveth all thine iniquities (sins); 2.who healeth all thy diseases;[…]

The Blessing of Sharing

We just sent a huge truckload of hospital supplies to the Centre de Sante Bas-Fonds Philemene. Hospitals here in Haiti have a hard time buying their own medical supplies, especially those who serve the poor. That’s why we are so thankful to organizations like World Vision who send us medicines and medical supplies. What a blessing! They also sent us special hospital gear for dealing with viruses like COVID-19.  We are always so thankful to receive these wonderful donations knowing that they can save lives! Thank you so much, and God bless those of you who donate items of value and those who give. It pleases God when we share and[…]
