Party at Fresh Foods Restaurant

“A Merry Heart Doeth Good Like a Medicine.”

Recently, Dieuferly and his “brothers and sisters from our orphanage, and friends,” cleaned up the Epi-Dor Restaurant, now known as “Fresh Food!” There are two parties the graduating class has… one is around the last week of January and another when they officially graduate in June.

Pictured are our three teenage Love A Child children, Michael, Hannah, and Bobby. In order to come to the party, everyone had to dress in red or white! Haitians can scramble and have clothes made, fast! They had great food, cake, ice cream, and plenty of “speeches!” Ha! When the last manager of this restaurant left the area, due to his worry over gangs, he left the restaurant without cleaning it!!

So, Dieuferly called in all his brothers, sisters, and friends, and did a “deep clean!” Then a day later, they opened it with some cold drinks, etc.!! Everyone in this whole area loves this restaurant! There is “no other place to go,” for birthday parties, graduations, etc. Since everyone who lives here has the stress of “what will happen next,” in Haiti, this is a place they can go to get a cone, or a hot dog, watch a movie, or have a birthday. As the Bible says, “A merry heart doeth good, like a medicine!” Proverbs 17:22

Everyone had a great time listening to speeches, songs, jokes, having drinks, cake, and ice cream! God bless our partners who help sponsor our Love A Child children! They, are “the future of Haiti!”
