We give honor to a wonderful friend and “soldier of the cross,” Mother Estella Roberts, 98, of Dade City, Florida. She has gone to be with the Lord. She has been a faithful partner of Love A Child for over 30 years! She has been supporting us, even before we moved to Haiti! She also sponsored one of the children in our orphanage.

Mother Roberts was married to Rev. Roberts, Sr. for 56 years. She attended many of our Love A Child Banquets and always “looked like a queen,” and was one of our very favorite friends! She always “had the victory over the devil,” was kind to everyone, and always “went the second mile to help someone!” We just want to thank God for allowing Sherry and me the privilege of knowing her, and “marching side-by-side” with her in the fight to end hunger. What a great testimony to her family and friends! Another soldier has gone on to be with the Lord!
