Oh, what a weekend for the people of Fond Parisien and this whole area! Everyone forgot about the gangs for four days! Spirits were lifted! The vendors made money, and there was so much fun for everyone. Look at the picture of the man balancing the chair, among other things, on his nose! There was a Christian band, plus the Haitian music, many acts, and the smells in the air… wow!

Our Haitian sons had church on Sunday morning at the market, and it was “Come As You Are!” So many Haitian churches are “too Holy.” If you have braided hair, long hair, or tattoos, the churches really don’t want you inside. Gwo Maché Mirak impacted the whole area. Thank you, Pastor Jentezen Franklin, for the million dollars to help build this market. Thank you also to the many others who helped with this.

Thank you to our Haitian sons and staff who put all of this together. You did “one great job!” Wow!!!
