Yonel is one of the children in our Orphan Home. He is very bright in school. When he was little, his voodoo father got angry and held his hand in boiling water. It melted his hand, skin, and fingers together.

Then his father threw him onto the street and left him. The police did not know what to do with him, so they called us, and we took him in. He is family; we love him very much. On March 15th, we have surgery lined up for him in Santo Domingo to make his hand as normal as possible. The cost of the surgery at the surgical center will be $6,000, which includes transportation, medicines, post-op care, doctors, and nurses.

We are praying for someone to sponsor or help. Our money is very tight here in Haiti because the prices of everything have skyrocketed.
