In Luke 29, the story is told of the man from Gadarenes who was bound with chains and had an unclean spirit. He lived in the tombs, naked. Today, this man came to our clinic to be treated for his foot. Voodoo and unclean spirits bound him. When we came to our Clinic, he stunk so badly that they had to move him to another building to bathe his leg. Everyone was wearing a mask, but our clothes still smelled. I asked “Polo” if I could pray for him and he said, “Madamn Sherry, I’m not a Christian.” I said, “Polo, people who are well don’t need a doctor but sick people do.” Then I laid my hands on him and prayed for him and with tears in my eyes, I said, “Polo, Madamn Sherry loves you and Jesus loves you!” We gave him food and clothing. It was so, so heartbreaking. My heart is breaking right now. Sherry
