Today, Sherry and I and some of our Love A Child children went to Pastor Claude’s orphanage, not far from us. It has been a little while since we have been able to go and see the children and sing, dance, and eat! It is hard for a large orphanage full of children to remain “inside” for a long period of time…

We took food, donated from Feed My Starving Children, along with toys… We cannot express the joy we feel when we see the food “cooking in those large pots!!!” Each plate was carefully “re-wiped” before putting the food on, and the workers were all very clean and wore masks…

The children sang and prayed, and then “dove in!” You can see the smiles on the faces of these children… These are children who have lost parents, were found in the streets, or who have eaten things like “rocks and mud” etc. before they were found.

All through the Bible, there are so many scriptures about the “blessings” that come on those who “bless the poor.” If you are reading this post, you are probably one of those “highly blessed” for giving to the poor or feeding the hungry. Thank you for helping us get this food to the children who need it the most!!!
