Today was the last day of our current session of Poul Mirak Chicken School.

Eight students had come for the 6-day training on raising chickens in Haiti. The students were literally from every corner of the country. They learned about raising Broilers for meat, layers for eggs and even just general all-purpose yard flocks. Some will return home to start a business of either eggs or meat with their new knowledge. Some will return home to raise animal protein for an orphanage, school, or their whole community. These students were sponsored by their organization or generous Love A Child donors who see the value in this training to teach Haitians how to help themselves.

Today was their “graduation” where they received their certificates and also some of Bobby’s own hens as a gift to take home.

All the students loved their time with us at “chicken school”. A big thank you to the donors who made it possible for the students to change their lives for generations to come. That is showing the love of Christ.
