Here is an update about our Poul Mirak chicken school from Rad Hazelip.

Yesterday, our Poul Mirak chicken school ended its week of work and study with a small graduation. Each student received a Certificate of Completion, and a box of laying hens, along with their new skills for raising chickens. Donors, who recognize the long-term benefits of learning sustainable skills, sponsored these eight students. Now they can return to their home area of Haiti and teach others what they learned. Many lives will be improved soon. Without the support of donors and the foresight of Mike Welch and the World Poultry Foundation, these students would not have had this opportunity to create a better life for their families and communities.
