The submersible pump well here in Fond Parisien broke some time ago. It’s a large well with a 10-inch pipe, pumping 1,200 gallons of water per minute. All the folks in this area depend upon the well for water, especially the children; they bring five-gallon buckets to collect the water. The farmers in the area depend upon the water from the well. They have canals dug from the well to their fields of gardens. Now, many will be losing their crops because of the lack of water. They have been praying!

I told Reggie to get a few of the farmers together at 10:00 AM this morning for a picture, and I would try to raise funds. I would put the picture on Facebook. This is a big project and will cost some serious money.

Praise report!!! Yesterday I had a pastor call me from California. We were talking about the needs of the people of Haiti. I mentioned this project to the Pastor lady, and it touched her heart! Her church will be writing the check to fund this whole water project! As I have promised, I put the picture this morning by the well on Facebook, but praise the Lord; the need has been met!!

I will be buying the new pump, pipes, etc., all in America and shipping everything into Haiti. Water will be flowing soon!!!
