Poor Haiti… We have never seen the country and its children in such a condition! Hunger is all around… Children from ages one to five are the most vulnerable. Right now, our workers are loading another truck of food, to the very poor area of L’Artibonite, 150 miles away. In this village, we cook all the food each day! It takes a lot of women cooking and a lot of large pots called “chodias” to cook the food. We feed 1,000 children a day, in addition to adults. It is a huge feeding program! We send food there every two weeks, and many times, our drivers face danger. (We feed them six days a week.) We don’t know how long we can do this because there is a great shortage of the Feed My Starving Children food. We are also buying rice by the container. Please remember the poor in your prayers.
