We knew her mother well. She had delivered a baby that was so tiny, fragile, and “sickly.” The mother of the child was “overwhelmed” by having another baby to take care of. So, we offered to take her in.

Rachael is 16 now. She is still in high school, doing well.

At the Orphanage, she is a great help in the laundry. She is always “ready to cook, clean, and help out” anytime. She still loves the “Christian dance” that she and her sisters are involved in. She gives her “ brothers “a fit with dominoes! Ha!

Rachael is in 10th grade now, and she will decide what she wants to do in life!!
