When the earthquake hit Haiti in 2010, it crushed and destroyed many buildings all over Haiti, especially areas like “Port-au-Prince!” It also destroyed clinics, hospitals, businesses, and orphanages. When we found out that a “handicapped” orphanage had been destroyed, we let them come and stay at our orphanage until they could find another place. We fell in love with a crippled boy named, Jean Richard! We asked if we could keep him!

Jean Richard has the gift of music and plays “professionally on the piano,” and now has a teaching degree in math and music! He is a devout Christian and teaches at our “Love A Child” school! He has been “a gift from God!” Sherry
