A child who is crippled in Haiti will never survive unless “God wraps divine favor all around him!” I guess that’s what happened to (Jean) Richard! In 2010, an earthquake hit Haiti so violently that it killed and crippled thousands. Orphanages were destroyed. Immediately after the earthquake, we were contacted by a handicapped orphanage because their building had collapsed! We took the children in until they could find homes, but we fell in love with one crippled boy named Richard. He was so humble and kind.

After Richard graduated from high school, he wanted to go to college to study music and computers! He will graduate in October! We are so proud of him! He has a positive attitude, loves people, and loves God! Thank you, partners, for caring for these children! Richard is “good soil” in which to plant “good seeds!”
