All Haitian girls love to cook! Widlene, who has been to college “Cooking School,” just got home to our orphanage yesterday. She has learned some delicious new items to cook! The food smelled so good, and Widlene showed the girls how to “present the food,” so that it tastes good and looks good! I took a bite, and it was an “A-Plus!” Widlene is now baking a big cake for our Birthday Party this evening!!! We will be celebrating many birthdays this evening!

Children who grow up in an orphanage “stick like glue” to their family! Even though these children came from many different families, they consider each one their “brother and sister!” Rodna and Fabiola will be learning from Widlene, who has just come home! Everyone is excited about our big Birthday Party tonight! The kids will be up late… but “we’re going to sleep early!” Ha!!!
