This cute 11-year-old has had a hard life. Her mother died when she was young, and her father had to borrow the money for her funeral. He borrowed the money from an evil man, who took all of his children (kidnapped them) until the father could pay the bill. The kidnapper never returned the children. The father was so distressed he became ill and could not work. Rodna suffered from malnutrition, so we brought her to our orphanage.

Rodna quickly responded to good food and love. Rodna loves to work… she sweeps and mops the floors. She cleans, irons clothes and helps take care of the little ones. She is still thinking about what she wants to do when she grows up… maybe be a teacher. The kids call her “Krapo,” or Frog because she has big eyes.
