I just love this picture of Rodna with a “pilon.”

A pilon, in Haiti, is one of the most important kitchen utensils… it is used to grind spices and things. All the girls in our “Children’s Home” are learning how to cook, and they love it!!

Rodna is ten years old and in fourth grade. She loves to babysit the smaller children, and she loves to cook! She is good at dance and loves to help the “mothers.” She wants to be a nurse.

It’s wonderful to see hope and joy in the eyes of any child. God had already put everything in her needed for success in life!

She will, indeed, go far! We love Rodna! She’s a little doll! Sherry
