Many of our partners have known Roselyne since we first took her in after finding her during a Mobile Clinic in Elastic. Her father brought her to us because her legs were growing “knocked kneed” and it was difficult for her to walk. We took her in, but physical therapy did little to help. But then, she hit a “growth spurt,” and to everyone’s amazement, the taller she grew, the straighter her legs grew too!

Last year she began to attend medical college in Port-au-Prince and was doing well, but, she and three other Love A Child kids, along with our workers, got kidnapped two weeks before Christmas! She can never travel through that gang area again, mentally. So, she is trying to find a college in Canada that will offer a scholarship. Roselyne is a prayer warrior! She is up early, each morning, on her knees, beside her bed, praying. She knows “we” don’t have the money for her college education in Canada, but she has “her faith in God!” Please remember Roselyne in your prayers.
