We need your prayers!

We are in the process of picking up 42,250 pounds of rice at the Port-au-Prince port to be distributed to the Haitian people. We cannot give you the day or time this week (for security reasons). Please pray for our driver Casimi who drives our semi-tractor with our 40-foot container that carries the rice. He will be traveling through some very tough gang areas, facing a lot of trouble and obstacles. Sherry and I are always on pins and needles while he is bringing the rice to Love A Child. He has a dangerous journey. Please pray for his protection. He knows the ropes, how to get through, but it is still so dangerous. Casimi is our hero. We love him!

Haiti is in the worse food crisis we’ve ever seen. We have lived in Haiti since July 1st, 1991. Our hearts are torn out especially for the children. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all of you who have helped make this possible. Plus, also this week we will be giving out 1,000 big tilapia fish with the rice! Yum!
