We will never forget the first day we saw little Samuel. His poor father had brought this new baby in his arms, from a long way in the mountains. He already had six children and his wife had just died in childbirth.

We had never seen a father cry as he gave up his son to our orphanage, but this poor father cried so hard, our Clinic Team cried too. We named the baby “Samuel” after Samuel in the Bible.

Samuel is strong, hard-working, and one of our painters. He plays the bass guitar and loves soccer and puzzles. His dream is to become an engineer, and he knows that God can make that happen!!! We all love “Samuel!”
