This is how we get all those “hairdos” done, for school. Sandraline is braiding Miliana’s hair for school. When you raise children together in an orphanage, they are a “family!”

Sandraline’s mother died soon after she was born, and her father, Fritzner, repaired bicycles to pay a lady to take care of her. But soon, as he was struggling, he could not afford milk nor the money to pay the lady. She was extremely malnourished and cried all the time.

She has a lot of trouble, mentally, keeping up with the other kids at school. But she is sweet, has a great personality, loves the Lord, and always wants to help. I call her “pi-wi-li” (in Creole, lollipop)! We all love Sandraline!
