Sandraline… Most of our “Love A Child” children came to us after they were about five and older. Sandraline was born in the area of Croix-des-Bouquet, Haiti. Her mother had died, and her father only had a small job as a bicycle repairman. He could not afford to hire a woman to care for Sandraline. Someone called us and begged us to take her. She was a very sick baby.

We decided to bring her into our orphanage because her father, a young man in Haiti, “fixing bicycle tires,” cannot support a baby! Sandraline has done well, although she has a very bad, stubborn streak! The other girls said that “she would not make her bed or help clean!” I just merely applied the “Sherry technique,” and she straightened out! She seems happy now and willing to do her share of work!! On another note, she is very good with small children. She loves “Christian Praise Dance!” But, she is a “handful!!” I think that as soon as she graduates, “I’m going to find her a husband!!” Ha!
