All the children have special chores to do on Saturday! Besides cleaning their rooms, and taking care of the animals, plus the two dogs, there is always a “lot of cleaning” to do!  They also have time for lessons, which they do every afternoon! In addition, the boys have to pick up trash and the older girls help with ironing and preparing meals. But truthfully, I have never heard any child say, “I don’t want to do this” or, “I’ll do it later!” They just “do it!” Their favorite thing to do is turn up the music and scrub the floors all around the courtyard! It turns into a “slippery, sliding skating rink!!” Ha! Of course, their two big, Rottweiler puppies are always in the middle of things!
