“Saving Baby Guilna…”

Sometimes, we may think that our giving is not doing much or “that the sacrifice is too great.”

Forget about the gangs and turmoil in Haiti for a moment, and let’s talk about “what a difference you are making with your sacrificial giving.”

This is “baby Guilna.” She is 16 months old, and she was brought to our clinic several months ago, dying of malnutrition. Her “birth mother died two weeks after Guilna was born.” No one in the family wanted to take her in; another mouth to feed in the middle of chaos.

Her aunt had brought her to us, thinking she would surely die. What a shock occurred when her aunt came into the Malnutrition Clinic and saw this beautiful baby laughing, playing, and “alive!”

If you have ever had a thought of “my giving really doesn’t count,” that is a lie of Satan!

Your sacrificial giving is changing lives, saving lives, and giving “hope” to the poor. Hope that says, “God has not forgotten me.”

Your giving and prayers are making a great impact here in Haiti, each time you faithfully give, so thank you with “all of our hearts!”
