This is one of my favorite pictures! Not all the older girls in our orphanage were here, but when Stanley came back from college, his “sisters” tackled him with hugs and kisses! Our kids have grown up “as a family,” even though many came from circumstances of one or two adults (family members), who helped raise them!

When children are raised here in an orphanage in Haiti, a Christian orphanage, they are “bonded together,” as though they are actually “sisters and brothers!” We have “many children” still here in our orphanage. Some have left for the States, some are in Jamaica, Italy, or the Dominican Republic, but they still feel that everyone is their “brother or sister!” It has been one of our “greatest joys” to raise these children in our orphanage, and see them grow up, get a job, move to another country, or stay here in Haiti and get a job… or get married! What an experience and what great joy it has been!
