“Saving Little Lives…” The Story of Baby Sadeline

Madamn Fusena lives in a village near us, here in Fond Parisien, Haiti. Madamn Fusena tries to grow beans, peas, and bananas to sell. Her husband makes charcoal for a living. They have six children and even with both of them trying to make a living, the children do not get enough food. Their youngest baby, Celestin Sadeline, began to be very sick and lifeless. She had a fever, vomiting, the flu, diarrhea… and no appetite.

The child’s mother grew fearful and took her baby to our Jesus Healing Center Clinic. The baby, little Sadeline, was 15 months old and not in good health. Our doctors immediately sent the baby to our Malnutrition Clinic. She was just 6.2 kg in her body weight. The baby spent a month at our Malnutrition Clinic! She was on a special diet and in that one month, she completely changed! Her weight is now 7.9 kg! When her mother came to our clinic, she saw a beautiful, smiling, happy, playful baby!

Her mother will bring her back every 15 days for a check-up! When a mother goes home, she receives a box of “Feed My Starving Children” food to take home. It takes everyone working together to save a life! We are thankful to Joyce Meyer Ministries – Hand of Hope for their support in sponsoring the building of our Malnutrition Center, and their monthly support financially for our Jesus Healing Center! Prayer makes a difference!
