I remember the day I found Ti Mika. We were in a very poor village, taping for a TV program. While I was sitting on the chair and talking on the program about food, I glanced over to see a dirty baby crawling on the ground. Soon, an elderly “Grandma” came over and picked her up. Grandma only had a half a handful of rice, and she fed that baby that tiny bit of rice. I knew this baby would not live if we left her in the village, so we asked to take her “home.” Several years later, we returned to that village to visit “Grandma.” She was on a mat on the mud floor, dying. I reached into my bag and took out a framed picture of Mika, who was happy, healthy and adorable. Grandma said, “Now I can die because I know Mika will be well.” A few days later, she died. Today, because of partners like you, Mika is healthy, happy and “mischievous!” Thank you, partners! Sherry
