School shoes here in Haiti are “very, very expensive!” But, “when prayers go up,” “miracles come down!” Certainly, “Miracle Village” and the poor village of Old Letant have been blessed tremendously!

A precious donor, who wishes to remain anonymous, and Dieux Mains, a wonderful organization that employs Haitians, have been making shoes for the Haitian children at their company here in Port-au-Prince! And, special thanks to Sarah, who is the head of Dieux Mains. We have been working together to make and distribute “school shoes for needy Haitian children” for years!

So far, they have given shoes to the schools in the villages of “Miracle Village” and “Old Letant!” It is difficult to really understand how poor these parents are… Under different circumstances, the families of the poor would have had to “do without” food in order to “pay for school shoes.” But, just look at “the goodness of God!” This wonderful organization in Port-au-Prince, Dieux Mains worked with a partner to “make all these school shoes,” which provides jobs and blesses the children of the poor!

This week, little children of the poor here in Haiti have been “happily walking to school,” chattering and laughing, on their way to get an education! For the poor Haitian children, “going to school is a privilege! When God’s people work together, we get more done for the poor!!
