People often see the Children’s Home, the schools, the church services, the feeding programs, the medical care, and all the other ministries of Love A Child. But what they don’t always see is the army of people behind the scenes making it all happen!

This photo is from a meeting we just had with department heads and managers, each responsible for a different piece of the puzzle. Some oversee construction, some oversee education, some manage finances, transportation, maintenance, medical programs, child care, food distribution, and a hundred other things that most people never think about.

Keeping a ministry this size running in Haiti is a little like trying to conduct an orchestra while riding a donkey through a traffic jam in the heat of the desert. Every day brings a new challenge, a new problem to solve, and usually at least one surprise that wasn’t on the schedule!

But by God’s grace, and because of the dedication of this incredible team, the work continues. We are thankful for every manager, supervisor, employee, volunteer, donor, and prayer partner who helps make this ministry possible.

Many hands, many responsibilities, one mission: sharing the love of Jesus and bringing hope to Haiti.
