Children with Special Needs…

Here in Haiti, children with special needs are usually “swept under the table” unless a really wonderful organization has a “heart” for the children. I will not begin to tell you what I have seen here in this country, but let’s just say that God has put us together to help those who have this calling. One of the organizations we support and share our food with each month is Melissa’s Hope. This is a wonderful organization that takes good care of the special needs children in a Christian environment. We share food with Melissa’s Hope and other handicapped orphanages each month, as well as a prison ministry. We cannot do everything, but we can partner with those who have a special calling to do something that God has laid on their hearts. When we all work together, the job gets done. No one needs the “credit” except Jesus!
