We found Zoey when she was left in the middle of a path that led to Old Letant. No one would tell us who the mother was. We took the baby to our orphanage to get some milk into her little body. We called “Child Services” and told them “what we found!” They told us they did not have any more room for “abandoned children.” They said, in so many words, “You found that baby! Now, it’s yours!”

We could understand… the gangs were in the street… It was very difficult to go and buy food, and “if you tried to do this,” you could expect to pay the gangs on the street along your way! We have found out that we need to “take it one day at a time” and depend completely on Jesus!!

Zoey is far “older” than she looks! She is like a “little, very strong, old lady!!” She is the youngest girl, but she is very intelligent and acts like “she can take on any kid!!” Ha!! Ha!! Way to go, “Zoey!” Sherry
