This story came in yesterday from Dieuferley, one of our grown Haitian sons. He has a love and a burden to help the poor in Haiti. On Monday, we will be cooking a hot meal for several hundred children. We will also be distributing many boxes of Feed My Starving Children (tipanou) food to the mothers.

“In the poor village of “Lilette,” little Maniolita Altidor, aged 8, spends her days alone with her mom, Noel Carmitha. She works hard sometimes in the street, sometimes in the market. They face challenges, and some days, there’s not enough food for her… she drinks sugar or salt water. Despite this, Maniolita takes charge at home and stays hopeful, dreaming of better days ahead, especially when she hears the promising words, “Tipanou is coming.” Amid difficulties, Maniolita shows courage. She explained many things to us while interviewed.” Dieuferely
