Here you will see Esther, left, and Widlene, right. Years ago, when we first moved to Haiti, we lived up in the mountains. One morning, a poor mother appeared at our gate with a tiny baby in her arms and a little girl about five years old. The poor lady thought that she was dying and wanted to leave her baby and small child with us! We asked her name, and she said, “Mdm. Jesula.” I said, “Jesu-la means Jesus is here, and if Jesus is really here, you won’t die!” We sent the mother of these two children to the hospital and found out that she was anemic. We took her and her two children into our orphanage. We gave her mother a job and raised the two girls. Later, we built their mother a small house.
Widlene, the oldest, is almost finished with college. She will be a professional cook! Esther will attend college to become a dental hygienist. The Lord was kind to this poor woman, who thought she was dying! And the Lord provided for the children’s education and college! God is good, all the time! Thank you, Partners! Sherry
