“Soup’s Ready!”

Early this morning, the cooks at our Haitian orphanage started cooking the Haitian soup called “Soup Jumou.” It is “pumpkin soup,” and as explained earlier, all Haitians want to eat this soup on New Year’s Day, even if they have to go hungry all week! This soup represents the freedom and independence of the Haitian slaves. Our Haitian children wish you could be here to try this delicious meal! God bless you and Happy New Year!
