Throughout the Bible, we read about the spiritual principle of “sowing and reaping,” which teaches us about the consequences of our decisions and actions. But there is also the natural principle that says if we plant an onion seed, we will certainly only harvest an onion plant.
Look at these pictures of our big harvest from the Love A Child gardens and see how many different crops were harvested. I can see nine different crops. If you are like me, a gardener, you may be envious of the bounty that is already being harvested each week from our gardens in Haiti, because many of us in the US have only just recently “sown” our seeds for this year’s garden. It won’t be time to “reap” for many more days and even weeks, yet our ATC staff is harvesting every week, all year round. When we sow generously, we will also reap generously. Thank you for supporting the good work of Love A Child’s programs of Development for Sustainability.
When you sow your gifts into Love A Child, many people reap an enduring harvest of food and hope for a better tomorrow.
