Two days ago, the older girls here at our Love A Child Orphanage got their hair all braided up for a big “two week trip” to the mountains. Since they were born or very small, they have known nothing about the suffering of the children in the mountains. I decided to give them a “come to Jesus” life lesson. We are sending them into the mountains of Haiti to visit relatives where they will sleep in mud huts, carry water, gather sticks, and live among the poor for two weeks! When they come back, they will write about their experiences of being the “rock in the sun.” (Maybe we should send some of our American teens, too.) Sherry
